Villa Parker Colorado Wedding | Bethany and Thomas
Villa Parker is bringing European Villa-inspired weddings to Denver Colorado. The venue has beautiful architecture, fountains, gardens, and lovely indoor spaces to host your wedding day. This intimate wedding day was planned with their in-house team Grace and Co. I loved how the bride, Bethany had such a fresh perspective of exactly how she wanted her intimate wedding to be.
Bethany and Thomas wanted a very small and intimate ceremony with just their closest family and friends. They had a stunning backdrop with a circular floral archway. I bet you wouldn’t even know that looking at this floral arrangement at the alter that everything was done in faux-florals! She even had a beautiful floral bouquet that was filled with greenery and white florals that were all fake.
Let’s talk about this dress and hair piece!! Bethany wore a sleek, silk dress with buttons running down the front of the dress that had a low slit in the bottom. I really loved that it was not a full-length dress because it feels like a chic modern spin on the traditional floor-length wedding gown we have seen in years past. See below for photos of how beautifully the fabric of the silk moved when these two danced under the glowing sunset of the evening
Now for the HEADPIECE! Wow. The piece had lace just where it sits on the crown of her head and hugs the shape of her head but then cascades down as a veil. I absolutely love this take on a veil and the length of the headpiece veil complimented her dress so incredibly well.
Thomas’ look was so classy as well. I really love the timelessness of a black suit, white button-down, and a black tie. Everything was so sharp and classic - he was just glowing with excitement from the moment I got there to see his soon-to-be wife.
Many of my favorite ceremonies include live music and this one was no exception. The orchestral duo played as the groom walked each of the mothers down the aisle, and then came Bethany. Because these two did not do a first look the moment where Thomas sees Bethany for the first time deserves a MOMENT here. So genuinely happy and candid.
The ceremony was full of beautiful vows, prayers, and songs. The two also took communion as a very special part of the ceremony. I felt such a strong bond not only between the couple and their relationship but also the relationship everyone at the small ceremony shared with each other and their faith. It is such an important thing to create a wedding that represents yourself and your love and B+T absolutely radiated that in this beautiful Villa Parker wedding.
On the way to family photos, I absolutely had to DOUBLE TAKE this incredible sunset. We actually did not intend to do portraits at this moment but we slipped away for a quick 5 minutes so that we could capture this golden hour gem. This is a photographer’s dream, right here. It is very few and far between when the sky lights up this orange but wow when it does - it has to be remembered. If you go check out the villa parker instagram you can see more of these images that they have shared from the wedding.
The end of the evening was a small candle lit dinner. B+T put disposable cameras on place settings so that their guests could capture the spirit of the evening in film. I love how it also subtly kept people from feeling like they needed to be on their phones throughout the night, but they could still capture the moment and be in it at the same time. I absolutely adore the idea of disposable film cameras for guests to play around with during a wedding reception.
